Dr. Mishra is a Ph.D in Nuclear Chemistry from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar with research experience from Bhava Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkotta. He has 10 international research publications to his credit and was selected by Ministry, HRD, Government of India for INDO-USSR and INDO-Czechoslovakia research fellowship in 1991. After serving as faculty member in Government of Orissa, Higher Education Institutions, he has started his entrepreneur début as Co-Founder, KIIT Society in 1992 which is today the first and largest Private University in Eastern part of India. Dr. Mishra has been the first Pro-Chancellor of the KIIT University. He co-founded Kalinga Software Private Limited in the year 1999 which is one of the successful educational technologies and consulting company in India today.  Dr. Mishra co-founded Knowledge Trust along with Indian friends & NRI Promoters in 2007 and has established a State of the art Engineering College to offer quality technical education. Dr. Mishra in his personal capacity is associated with a number of Educational Institutes, Universities as Advisor.
